REMED firma acuerdo histórico​

El 14 de enero de 2022 se celebró un momento histórico para el desarrollo del país con la firma del contrato que da inicio oficial al proyecto de reactivación ferroviaria en Guatemala.

Este acuerdo representa el primer paso concreto hacia la implementación de una red ferroviaria moderna, eficiente y sostenible, que busca conectar estratégicamente distintas regiones del país y posicionar a Guatemala como un eje clave de conectividad en América Central.

El proyecto contempla la recuperación de infraestructura ferroviaria existente y el desarrollo de nuevas rutas, con el objetivo de facilitar el transporte de personas y mercancías, reducir los costos logísticos y contribuir significativamente a la disminución de emisiones contaminantes.

Esta iniciativa refleja un compromiso firme con la modernización del transporte y el desarrollo sostenible del país.
