REMED had the honor of participating in the 37th Annual Congress of ALAMYS (Latin American Association of Metros and Subways), held in San José, Costa Rica. This prestigious event brought together leading representatives of the railway industry from across the region, offering a space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and projections on the future of railway transport in Latin America.

During our participation, we had the opportunity to present the railway reactivation plan in Guatemala, highlighting its positive impact on connectivity, sustainability and the economic development of the country. The congress also allowed us to learn about the ambitious plans of our neighbouring countries in the railway field, opening up possibilities for regional collaboration.

On the first day of panels and presentations, we addressed, together with other experts, the challenges and opportunities of railway systems in Central America, reaffirming our commitment to the development of a modern and efficient railway network that benefits the entire region.

Events like this are essential to foster international cooperation and strengthen strategic alliances that drive innovation and progress in the railway sector.
